Terms of service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Eastside Marketing Pty Ltd (ABN 17 698 174 542), an Australian business ("we", "us"), which operates Demo My Product. By creating an account or using Demo My Product you agree to them. If you use Demo My Product for an organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. The service
Demo My Product lets you turn screenshots into interactive product demos, share them by link or embed them on websites, collect leads and see analytics. It includes a Chrome extension for capturing screenshots.
2. Your account
You need an account to create demos. Give us accurate details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at hello@demomyproduct.com if you think someone else has used it.
3. Trial, plan and payment
- Price: one plan, paid monthly at US$44 a month or yearly at US$500 a year, plus any taxes that apply. The price shown when you subscribe is the price you pay. You can switch between monthly and yearly from Billing; Stripe adjusts the charge for the time left in your current period.
- Free trial: new accounts get a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start it. You are not charged during the trial, and the first payment is taken when it ends, unless you cancel first. We show you that date before you start. Each customer gets one trial.
- Renewal: your plan renews automatically each month or year, and we charge your card on the renewal date. You can see the renewal date in Settings, under Billing.
- Cancelling: cancel any time from Settings, under Billing. Cancel during the trial and you are never charged. Cancel later and you keep access until the end of the month or year you have paid for. We do not refund part-periods, except where the law requires it.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails and is not resolved, your plan ends as described in section 7.
- Price changes: we will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and it applies from your next renewal.
Payments are processed by Stripe.
4. Your content
You keep all rights in the screenshots, text and other material you upload ("your content"). You give us a licence to host, copy, process and display your content only as needed to provide Demo My Product to you and to the people you share your demos with.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it. Before you publish a demo, blur or remove anything you are not allowed to share, such as other people's personal information or confidential data. The blur tool helps, but it is up to you to check what you publish.
If you collect leads through a demo, you are responsible for how you use them, including telling viewers what you will do with their details and following privacy and anti-spam laws.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Demo My Product to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- publish content that is harmful, abusive, deceptive or sexually explicit;
- impersonate another person or organisation, or build demos designed to trick people into giving up passwords, payment details or other information;
- spread malware, or attack or overload Demo My Product or anyone else;
- get around the service's limits or security, or access another customer's account or data; or
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
6. Our service
We work to keep Demo My Product available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or improve features over time. If we remove a feature that is central to the service, we will tell you in advance. We keep daily backups, but you should keep your own copies of anything important.
7. When a plan ends
If your plan ends and is not renewed, editing locks, but your published demos keep working for 30 days so shared links and embeds do not break straight away. After that your account is locked, with your demos, screenshots and leads kept, for 12 months. Reactivate within that time and everything is as you left it. After 12 months locked, your account and everything in it are deleted permanently.
You can stop using Demo My Product at any time. We may end these terms if you seriously or repeatedly break them, or if we stop offering the service; if we stop offering it, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.
8. The Chrome extension
The extension captures the visible part of the browser tab you are on, only when you ask it to, and uploads it to your account. You can disconnect it at any time under Settings, then Chrome extension.
9. Consumer law and liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing in these terms limits them or any other right you have that the law does not allow us to exclude.
To the extent the law allows:
- Demo My Product is provided as is, without any other warranties;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, revenue or data; and
- our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or, where the Australian Consumer Law applies, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Demo My Product after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction. If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
