Build demos with AI agents

Demo My Product works with AI agents through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, an agent can do anything you can do in the editor: list and create demos, add screenshots, write step titles, place hotspots and tooltips, blur sensitive areas, change the demo's settings and publish it.

The server address is:

https://demomyproduct.com/mcp

The first time an agent connects, your browser opens Demo My Product: sign in (or create an account), check the agent's name, and press Allow.

Connect an agent

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop). Open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it Demo My Product and paste the server address.

Claude Code. Run:

claude mcp add --transport http demomyproduct https://demomyproduct.com/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, pick demomyproduct and authenticate.

Cursor. Open Settings → MCP, add a server with the URL above.

ChatGPT. In a workspace with connectors enabled, add a custom connector with the URL above.

Any other MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth works the same way.

Ask for a demo

Some prompts to start from:

  • Create a demo called "Onboarding tour" from the four screenshots in this folder, with a hotspot on the main button of each, and publish it.
  • Capture https://example.com/pricing and https://example.com/signup as a two-step demo, point a tooltip at the sign-up button, and give me the embed code.
  • Open my "Billing tour" demo, blur the email addresses on every step, and republish it.

Screenshots: upload or capture

An agent can add screenshots in two ways:

  • Upload. For screenshots it has (or takes) itself. The agent asks for a one-time upload link, sends the image to it (PNG or JPEG, up to 10 MB), and turns it into a step. Works for any page, including ones behind a login.
  • Capture. For public pages, the agent gives a URL and Demo My Product opens it in a browser, takes the screenshot and lists the buttons and links on it, so hotspots land in the right place. Pages that need you to sign in can't be captured: use an upload instead.

Plans and limits

An agent acts as you, with your plan: creating and editing need an active trial or subscription, and publishing needs a verified email. Agents can make up to 120 calls a minute, 60 uploads an hour and 30 captures an hour.

Disconnect an agent

Go to Settings → Connected agents and press Disconnect next to the agent. It loses access straight away; you can connect it again from the agent at any time.
